Max Maher

Max Maher

Max Maher has had a long and complicated relationship with music. In 2011 Max started learning piano after being surrounded by music growing up. He also began to sing but was too afraid to share his voice causing it to take a back seat to piano.

During a trying period in his adolescence, Max took a break from music but eventually, with the help of his closest friends, - some of whom will be sharing the stage with him tonight, Max rediscovered his love for music through jazz and used it as an outlet.

Today, Max has completed Stage 2 Music Explorations, with a focus on musical theatre, and will be attending university next year to study a Bachelor of Music.

While he has had a confusing relationship with music in the past Max now uses music to bond, heal, and connect with others in ways that can only be described as euphoric. It's safe to say, Max has found his mojo again.

Max is pleased to be part of the Carols Team this year.
